Funny or Die has posted a pretty funny spoof phone call from Christian Slater’s agent about their skate movie “Gleaming the Cube” being undercut by Josh Brolin’s “Thrashin’” back in the ’80s. Repeat, it’s not real but pretty funny. Enjoy.

Skateboarder Magazine’s first episode of our new video series “In the Editing Bay” features Nike SB’s Jason Hernandez talking about what went into the making of the new Nike SB Chronicles.

Ricki Bedenbaugh, aka “The Dude,” is a filmer/editor based in Long Beach, CA who has worked for 411VM, New Deal Skateboards, Element skateboards and currently works with Etnies. Ricki let us dig around in his home office for a few hours and here’s what we found. Also, be on the lookout for Ricki’s Etnies Europe video dropping online Monday Dec. 12.

Stacey Peralta’s Bones Brigade documentary has been officially selected to premiere at the Sundance Film Festival. Not sure what other documentaries it’s up against but it should be pretty interesting seeing Lance, Tony and the boys mingling with the Hollywood A listers.
