Raiders of the Archives: Skatelab Part 3 of 3 with Todd Huber the owner of the skatepark and museum. Todd’s collection of skate memorabilia is second to none. His treasure trove of skate goodies is so big that he can’t fit it all into the museum and most has to be stored in the basement and never gets seen until now.
Come out and see RVCA’s Leo Romero, Kevin Spanky Long, Julian Davidson, Ed Templeton and more shred it up for Liberty Board Shop. Check the flyer for more info.
Our contributing writer, Seb Carayol, tracked down Powell-Peralta, 101 and Chocolate alumni Gabriel Rodriguez to find out about his early sponsorship days, professional career and the life after. The Portland stop of the Dew Tour had another gnarly concrete bowl contest go down. While the DAKINE guys were there we loaded up the van and headed to the “Funnest place on Earth”, Windells. Portland in the summer is amazing and all the boys killed it. Check out Steve Reves, Andrew Langi and more.
Check out Plan B riders Ryan Sheckler, Torey Pudwill, PJ Ladd, Danny Way, Colin McKay and more for a demo at the VANS skate park on Friday, and a signing at the Element store on Saturday.
It’s hard to believe that it’s been three years to the day that the skate world lost an amazing skater in Van Wastel. We miss him dearly and our thoughts still go out to his family and friends. The guys over at skately.com interviewed Van’s brother, Eddie, and there’s some great stories that he shares. Also, check out the flyer for the Van Wastell skate jam at Skatelab this month. Come out if you can and remember a fallen friend.

If the tricks he’s been pulling at Rob Dyrdek’s Street League are any indication of what’s in store for this video part, then Nyjah Huston is going to blow minds on 11.11.11. Make sure to have an extra pair of underwear on stand by because you’re probably going to shit your pants that day.
After floating around for years in the flo-gram from teams but steadily crushing it on a consistent basis, our friends at Cliché Welcome Lem Villemin to the team. Nice one.
