Garden Skate to host charity event for Harold Hunter Foundation

To help bring the sport and art of skateboarding to inner city kids, on April 2nd, from 12 – 3 PM, Todd Schwartz owner of Garden Skate in Pine Brook, NJ, is hosting a charity fundraiser for the Harold Hunter Foundation (HHF) (http://haroldhunter.org/) whose mission is to use skateboarding as a vehicle to provide inner-city youth valuable life experiences that nurture individual creativity, resourcefulness and the development of life skills. More than a dozen professional and top amateur skaters including Rodney Torres and Billy Rohan will be on hand to show off there skateboarding skills and support the foundation. Garden Skate currently hosts daily excursions for the Harold Hunter Foundation kids at no cost. All proceeds raised at this fundraiser will go to directly the Foundation to continue to provide transportation and access places like Garden Skate.
