Public Domaine – Major Skateboard Art Show in Paris at Gaite Lyrique

Starting June 18th and running until August 7th is one of the largest skateboard art shows ever. Curated in Paris at the 5 floor Gaite Lyrique Gallery, it features skateboard culture and artists from all over the world. Skateboarder Magazine’s Senior Photographer Jonathan Mehring was invited out to the event and was one of the featured artists. Other notables included Bryce Kanights, Mofo, Kevin Thatcher, Luke Ogden, Rhino, Michael Burnett, Patrick O’Dell, Ed Templeton, Jerry Hsu, David Broach, Gabe Morford, Cédric Viollet, Brian Gaberman,Taro Hirano, Sem Rubio, Dan Boulton, Benjamin Deberdt, Deeli, Eric Antoine, Travis Dove, Rich Gilligan, Bertrand Trichet, Buzzy Sullivan, Sergej Vutuc, Fred Mortagne, Gus Duarte, Giovanni Reda, Davy Van Laere, Atiba Jefferson, Sam Ashley, Neck Face, Yogi Proctor, Adam Wallacavage, Donny Miller, Deanna Templeton, Cleon Peterson, Mike O’Meally, The Art Dump (Eric Anthony, Hershel Baltrotsky, Jeremy Carnahan, Michael Coleman, Andy Jenkins, Christian Morin, Andy Mueller, Evan Hecox & Chris Waycott), ILL Studio, Natas Kaupas, Mike Manzoori, DVNO, Rémi Brun, Sade Coy, Cédric Viollet and Edouard Le Scouarnec, Matthias Fennetaux, William Strobeck, Ludovic Azémar, Ty Evans, Don Brown and Claude Jutra, Alyasha Moore, Andy Jenkins, Ben Horton, Ed Templeton, Eli Morgan Gesner, Fos, Marc McKee, Mike Hill, Moish Brenman, Sean Cliver, Michael Sieben, Todd Francis, Winston Tseng, Johnny “Mojo” Munnerlyn, Colin Price and Donny Miller, Pierre-Andre Senizergues, Mark Gonzales, Lance Mountain, and Benjamin Chesselon.
Under the direction of Jérôme Delormas – la Gaîté lyrique’s director, Public domaine – Skateboard culture is the brainchild of Vincent Carry – artistic advisor to la Gaîté lyrique in collaboration with Pedro Winter and Morgan Bouvant – invited representatives, Yogi Proctor and Sébastien Carayol – consultants and Benoit Rousseau, music programmer.
There will also be live performances from Dinosaur Jr, Tommy Guerrero, Mix Master Mike, Ray Barbee, McRad, Lords of The Underground, Boys Noize, Antipop Consortium, Busy P, Bad Shit, The Goat
As well as demos by Etnies, Girl, and Nike SB.
