COHORTS
Erik Ellington and Elissa Steamer
by Tom Tommison

Erik Ellington on Elissa Steamer
"There are six people in our house and she's the laziest of all of them. She's messy, too. I bitch at her all the time to clean up her dishes and she just sits there and complains. I don't think she's ever vacuumed. But skating with her is fun, we heckle each other all the time."

Elissa on Erik
"I met him at Jamie Thomas' house while I was on the Toy Machine Tour. He was wasted at the time- that's the only thing I remember about meeting him. The team took a trip to San Francisco, and Erik and I talked about getting a house with a few people. Three months later we had a place. I'm a cleaner person, like personal cleanliness, but around the house I won't clean. All the guys in the house made a list of chores to do everyday, and I told them I wouldn't do any of them. Forget it. When we skate, he encourages me, but I can't encourage him too much because the guy can already do everything. When we aren't skating, we just sit on our duffs. I'm definitely lazier than him. That's one thing I'm better than him at."
