If I were to give one piece of advice to an up and coming skate photographer, it would be to avoid shooting a sequence at all costs. Sometimes it has to be done, but if the still is an option, it’s the better one. Still, sometimes shooting a still can be a risk. I rolled the dice and lucked out with this photo of Dylan from a while back. Fakie flip over the rail into the bank. When I got the film back I had never been more glad I didnt reach for the motor drive.
