Skate Photo Friday… In black and white…
Posted by John Bradford

Its sometimes seen as a requirement to set up a bunch of flashes on tall stands to shoot a skate photo, but its also sometimes refreshing to just pull out a camera with some black and white film in it to get the job done with the natural light. In my opinion the images come out better that way, but that’s just me. One day I think we’ll be forced back to the more rudimentary shooting techniques that we’ve all “progressed” away from shooting skateboarding. Sometimes I’m shocked at what we get away with setting up the way we do. Oh well, we’ll see what the future holds for the skate photographer’s “kit”… It’d be cool to get it back under 10 pounds…

Enjoy your weekend.
