A while back Emerica did a super limited run of Ridgemonts as a Free
Love Park shoes to benefit the Skateboard Advocacy Network (SAN) in its
quest to promote skateboarding, get parks built and bring skateboarding back
to Philadelphia’s iconic Love Park. These shoes were so limited, they never
made it to full-scale production. A few of these beauties have been saved
and are now available on Ebay to the top bidders. All proceeds go towards
funding for the Wilmington Skate Project, an effort to build a skate-plaza
style park in Philly’s neighboring city to the south Wilmington, Delaware.
The kicks feature a blueprint-style schematic of the entire Love park plaza.
Have a look and maybe throw down a bid for some sick kicks and a good cause
