Etnies in Stereo

Los Angeles, Calif. – Blood, sweat and tears went into creating the etnies Stereo Collection. etnies designers worked with Jason Lee and Chris Pastras around the clock to develop footwear that possessed Stereo’s urban Americana style. After all the hard work that went into the project, etnies and Stereo hosted an evening of Martinis and Ping-Pong at Marvimon in Downtown Los Angeles to celebrate.

No invitees had ever been to Marvimon prior to the party. The venue doesn’t have a visible sign or address and it’s hidden away between two old buildings that have seen better days, but somehow there were already a handful of lurkers waiting to get in long before the 9 p.m. start time. A Jazz band called Kids from the Cotton Club started playing soon after the doors opened, and the bartenders began slinging free etnies, Stereo and WE signature cocktails.

The line at the door stayed long all night, and plenty of folks from both the skate and movie industries made their way inside to see the new etnies Stereo kicks. Shortly after the Kids from the Cotton Club finished their first set DJ Pubes started spinning records, and the ping-pong began.

Everybody seemed to want to get in on the ping-pong tourney. You’ve heard of a friendly game of ping-pong? Not at this tourney, these games were intense! Rob Dyrdek, Chad Fernandez, Erika Christensen, Cullen Poythress and Andy Mueller were among those gunning for the win. At end of the night, Andy Mueller of Girl reigned as the champ – Congrats!
