You make things happen, and you do make a difference in the world.Thanks for this comment. I was wondering if maybe it was all a bit weird, even though it seemed really powerful to me. Isn’t it a great idea, though? What a difference in the way we think about someone we love, rather than focusing on their flaws or annoying points. The hard part is to remember to do it.For example, we were out shopping today, and my little JOYFUL EXUBERANCE was chattering away at a great rate about everything in the store and her coming up birthday party friend whose gift we were shopping for. I, of course, was stressed at the shopping, and wasn’t thinking about this whole concept, so was just annoyed too much at the constant input. What a difference it might have made to think of her in those terms rather than thinking Why can’t she just be quiet? Could I not have tried rejoicing at her joyful exuberance instead? How do we remember to use these ideas?
