We stayed in Nha Trang for a few extra days. Partly to keep skating several good spots there and partly because we needed a break from the chaos on the roads. After that city we really only had Ho Chi Minh City to go and that seemed like the end. So maybe we wanted to stay partly because we didn’t want it to be over yet.

Keegan's friend Will happened to be in Vietnam at the same time and tagged along with us. He didn't think he could pop a wheelie on his scooter but when he tried off this bump he went right over the back.

As I was photographing the kids riding bikes to school a teacher came up to me and asked me to come in and talk to their English class. I came in and told them about our trip tried to explain what we were doing there. I'm not sure they got any of it but it was a pretty cool experience.

Towards the end I decided to leave them a copy of Skateboarder but as I was getting if from my bike I realized it was the issue with Sheckler and all the strippers as an opening spread. I ran into an empty classroom and tore out all the pages which had half naked girls (which was about half of that issue) and gave the mangled copy to the teacher.

As always, love your pictures of the culture. My friends from AZ were just there and no way showed the culture you did to me though your eyes and experiences. Look forward to many more from my seat in Prescott. Also so enjoyed the one of your Mom and Dad’s doings and home. Your loving cousin, Betsy
