The final week of our trip was in China. We missed our train out of Mongolia to our utter dismay. It was an amazing place but we were over it. It was wait a week or take a 15 hour bus ride from the border to Beijing. We opted for the bus. In retrospect, I think it may have been a better idea to stay. The bus was unbearable. Crammed into tiny seats that didn’t move, we were laying down but only partly. After that long in one position it got pretty uncomfortable. We spent a few days in Beijing and a week in Shenzhen before heading home.
