Mehring’s Bearings: Trans Siberian Railway Part 6 of 8.
More photos from our few days in Mongolia.
We went out of Ulaanbaatar one day to check out the local countryside and rented some horses to ride around on. They were so small it was pretty funny. I had never been on a horse in my life and the stirrups were so short that my knees almost reached them. Still it was a fun experience.
Our driver and translator.
Van having a "holy shit! Where the hell are we?" moment.
Jack on a yack.
Keegan with an eagle.
Our Russian friend Kirill Korobkov, who pretty much made this trip possible and translated for us along the way in the back, Kenny, and Jack.
The next day we found this hubba. Keegan back lipped it.
Van back 5-0'd it.
And 5-0 180'd it.
Sukbatar Square had really good flatground.
Soon we were back on the train headed for China.
