Etnies and The Sheckler Foundation Supports Autism Speaks With Skate For a Cause

ETNIES AND THE SHECKLER FOUNDATION SUPPORT AUTISM SPEAKS WITH SKATE FOR A CAUSE

Presented by etnies, the Sheckler Foundation Event is set for May 14 at the etnies Skatepark of Lake Forest

April 14, 2011(Lake Forest, CA) – Today etnies announced that the Sheckler Foundation’s 2ndannual SKATE FOR A CAUSE event, benefiting Autism Speaks, will be on May 14 at the etnies Skatepark of Lake Forest. Running from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., SKATE FOR A CAUSE will include four best trick contests and a skateboard carnival village with games and activities.

The total prize purse for the best trick contests is $15,000, with $4,000 for the best trick on tranny, $4,000 on the Red Bull tech center, $4,000 on the Power Balance stairs, rails and hubba section and $3,000 on the Ball Park SkaterCross. Invited skaters for the best trick contests are:

In addition to the best trick contests and carnival village, SKATE FOR A CAUSE will be hosting a fundraiser within their fundraiser, benefitting the Saddleback Valley Unified School District. DonateGames has joined forces with Everypenny to create a text giving campaign that will benefit Mission Viejo High School, El Toro High School, Trabuco High School and Laguna Hills High School.
