There are two imperative skllis she needs to acquire (and will).1. The ability to discern intuition from all the other voices in her head. Fear, a sense of obligation, the lessons we are taught, for better or worse, are all very loud. Intuition is not. But it is more distinct and can still be heard over the din. 2. Courage. Success build on success. She will achieve a few minor goals until she hits that exponential curve. Shell be fine. You only need to learn half as many things. Just one, yep, but it’s a doozy 1. How to watch people hurt, knowing there is nothing in the world you can do to stop it. It sucks, but we all have our own agonizing path to follow. If it’s any comfort, someone older and wiser than you is fretting over the perils you’re about to succumb to. There is nothing they can do to stop you. Several people wring their hands daily about my poor choices and general lack of insight. I love Snookie. I can’t watch her show (no cable), but I want to protect her from the difficulties of life and poor fashion sense. She’ll work it out. So will I. So will Rochester.
