SAN CLEMENTE, CA (September 29, 2010) – Some of the best skaters from around the U.S. and elsewhere went on a mini-ramp rampage at The Standard Hollywood Hotel last night. Record breaking heat made for an ideal Autumn evening on the outside deck with an 18ft wide ramp, tray passed goodies, and a seemingly endless supply of Pabst Blue Ribbon.

Co-Sponsored by Lakai and Red Bull, the invitational event was packed with the who’s who of the industry chilling poolside as the sun set on the strip. Household names such as Eric Koston and Lance Mountain mingled among the crowd, while Andrew Reynolds and others chose to enjoy the ramp on a non-competitive level.

Old school and new school skaters alike battled it out for the $5,000 up for grabs during an hour-and-a-half jam session. All of the participating skaters judged who the top three were with score cards at the end of the night.

After much cheering and applause from the crowd, a bloodied Raven Tershay claimed 1st place and $2,500. While Andrew Langi took 2nd place with $1,500 and Tom Remillard went home $1,000 richer in 3rd place.

Other participating skaters included: Arto Saari, Ben Nordberg, Brian Anderson, Curren Caples, Danny Montoya, Dylan Rieder, Jason Rogers, Kenny Anderson, Louie Lopez, Mike Carroll, Sal Barbier, Scott Johnston, Alfonso Rawls and Vincent Alvarez.
