Times have been tough for Gabriel but he’s overcome some demons and is trying to stay on the right path, so we’re proud to give you the Gabriel Rodriguez interview.

It’s hard to believe that it’s been three years to the day that the skate world lost an amazing skater in Van Wastel. We miss him dearly and our thoughts still go out to his family and friends. The guys over at skately.com interviewed Van’s brother, Eddie, and there’s some great stories that he shares. Also, check out the flyer for the Van Wastell skate jam at Skatelab this month. Real Skateboards known associate Alex Midler is a street ripper at only 12 years old. Alex is an upstanding little man.
